Chasing Lilacs...
I made this card for my Mother-in-Law, Carla, for her birthday Her birthday was in April and I am just now getting it posted to my blog... I am such a procrastinator. I chose this particular stamp because she recently had her first book, Chasing Lilacs, released and it is fantastic (and available at Amazon and B&N). I made the background paper using white glossy cardstock and various alcohol inks and then ran it through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder... I love the way it turned out!

Hi Cindy. I just love that card. The colors are so deep & rich, and love the layout. Thanks for sharing with us.
The embossing over the alchohol inks background is very nice, love the colors and soft shading around your image too. Your work is wonderful to gaze at!
Very elegant card, Cindy - love the background! Looks like you're another gal that's a pro at ribbons and bows!
Hi Lillian... I wish I could take credit for the bows but it's all the Bow-Easy!
