For Caleb...

I made this card for one of my dearest friends' son, Caleb, who turned five this past November.  I always struggle to make masculine and kids cards but I am pretty happy with how this one turned out.

I used Stampendous "Hot Botz" to build the robot.  The set is really versatile... all the parts ore separate so you can pick and choose how you want your robot to look.  The sentiment was from another set (sorry but I don't remember which one).   It was also used on the inside of the card which says "Happy Beep Beep Birthday". The only thing I wish I would have changed is to use silver paper and a diamond plate embossing folder for the white layer...

I hope to get back to doing more blogging soon... I am finally getting somewhat healthy again and am now just trying to get my house cleaned after being sick for almost two months.

Perfect boy card, Cindy, and I'm sure Caleb will be thrilled with it! Could have fooled me as the robot being in "pieces" - you are SO good at lining up the parts. Love the screw brads, too. WELCOME BACK, Cindy - we've missed you !! And, don't worry - it's perfect just the way it is . . .

I think that is just darling! I had not seen the set that you select the parts you want to use! Great work as always, my sweet friend.

Keep well, and the housework can wait!
Love ya,
Pat
